Mom Fired for Pumping Breast Milk at Work: Here’s How Moms Can Work at Home and Be There for Their Children

Ohio working mother LaNisa Allen was fired by her employer for taking unauthorized breaks to pump her breast milk for her infant son. CNN’s Campbell Brown, a breastfeeding mother herself, covered this story reporting that Allen’s case was taken as far as the Ohio Supreme Court where her employer won the lawsuit. This is just one of the challenges that working moms face when they try to go back to work after having a baby.
